How it works

A mutual testing workflow for Android developers

Developers contribute by testing apps and use the credits they earn to recruit testers for their own listings.

Find an Android app to test

Browse active listings and choose an app that is currently recruiting closed-test participants.

Join the Google Play test

Open the provided Google Play link and follow the developer’s instructions to join and install the test build.

Complete the test and earn credits

Use the app, complete the required testing flow, and submit feedback to receive TestCrew credits.

Recruit testers for your own app

Spend earned credits to publish your own app listing and start recruiting testers.

Testing and recruiting form a contribution cycle between developers.

Features

Tools for managing mutual app testing

Test other developers’ apps and recruit testers for your own app from the same account. Move between testing and recruiting without managing separate tools.

Credit-based exchange

Extend recruitment beyond TestCrew

Recruit within TestCrew and expand to external channels when needed. Participation and results from external testers can still be reviewed in TestCrew.

See available testing slots and current participant counts in one place, so you can quickly find apps that are actively recruiting testers.

Completion and feedback

Submit feedback when you complete a test. App owners can review feedback together with participant and completion status.
